So many choices of dog food, so little time!
I was recently in a veterinary office and asked if I could give a treatment to a beautiful Golden Retriever. Her husband said sure and asked what it was. I told him that there is a low-fat lamb and rice cakes. He shot quickly with his dog anxiety response, "No, it's vegan. I replied with" Oh, me too! What are his characteristics?
I did not really say anything because I understand that many dogs adoptedmany food allergies, as well as their human companions. Dogs are carnivores. Their teeth, jaw, and digestion was originally "designed" for raw meat. My dogs definitely prefer, but their enjoyment of the usually preceded hear me say "leave it!" But "it's serious, hurry up and eat!
There are so many options, diet – Vegan, Raw (which I think is the most natural), and only dry food Kibble, Kibble for raw, vegetarian, fish and potatoes, deer or other rare"Season's" meat. When did that happen? Where did you get the dogs on their final food preferences and evil, has terrible allergies to food? It seems there is also a subtle level of arrogance that we feed Pooky. Our concern should not use the mark, but the content and our dog, well-being.
Having had a dog suffering from severe skin allergies, do not I do not understand. We spent a year or more on expensive food testing. It did not work. Finally, there wasinjections for allergies and did not work. Prednisone and prednisolone just worked. Allergy tests turned out to be (much to their delight) that she was allergic to cats, mold and dust! Welcome to my world! Thus, food was not the problem. One might think that the higher the price of food, the greatest of health. Not at all.
We are all left with the responsibility to know our dogs and what works.
Did they eliminate on a regular basis? But not too much?
Is it their solid stool?
Isthey are a healthy weight – a thin layer of tissue on the coast and a carpet of beautiful breasts?
How are your teeth? Are the most free of the plate?
Are they fed on a schedule for the semi-compatible?
Has too much gas? (You know that for you!)
I'm not going to recommend a dog food. With six dogs, I recognize my get Kibble. They love it and those who wonder what someone else showed me they did not. It's good, but probably not considered "topline. "Taking responsibility for your dog in the diet and health, but if they eat better than you, it may be time for an assessment or you can just say" I have what they have! "
Sometimes it's good to remember that may be what your dog likes best is love and a full stomach.
